"Creative Charitable Planning:
How to Leverage Noncash Assets and AI."

Paul Caspersen brings 27 years of experience in financial, estate, and charitable planning. From 2012 to 2022, he served as Assistant Vice President and Sr. Philanthropic Advisor at the University of Florida, where his team secured $1.25 billion in complex and deferred gifts. He previously led gift planning at Iowa State University and spent a decade in financial services.
Paul is the founder of Planned Giving Interactive (PGI), a charitable planning software & consulting organization. PGI is an affiliate organization to Charitable Solutions LLC, the largest national consulting firm that provides charities with risk management solutions for non-cash donations and charitable gift annuities. He serves on the national board of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) and is a published author and contributor to journals like Trusts & Estates.
He holds a master’s degree in financial planning & taxation from the College for Financial Planning and a bachelor’s in business communications from the University of Northern Iowa.
