"Gift Annuities: Drop the Hassle, Take the Gift"

Program Description:
The presenters will provide a summary of the various gifting techniques including cash, real estate, life insurance, IRAs and bequest gifts. The audience will be invited to discuss problems and objections encountered by charities when working with their donors. They will present techniques for using insurance industry products to enhance the gifts to charities.

About the Presenters:
Marvin Hicks has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Financial Planner. He is a graduate of NC State University with a BS degree and also received his MBA from the University of South Carolina. Marvin is currently enrolled in The American College graduate program to obtain his Certified Advisor in Philanthropy designation enhancing his knowledge in and assisting charities with fundraising.

Ed Tyng has been in the financial services business with his own practice for 20 years and is a Registered Representative in General Securities. He attended Old Dominion University and received his Chartered Financial Consultant designation from The American College. Additionally, Ed has earned the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and is a Certified Long-Term Care certificant (CLTC).
